Find Out How The Young Vibes
Program Works
A Step-by-Step Guide for Families
Every child and family is different, which is why the Young Vibes approach is designed to be flexible, supportive, and personalised.
If the information on this page resonates with you and your partner (without involving your child yet), then the Young Vibes program could be exactly what your family needs.
Many families who begin this journey after reading Young Vibes reviews say the process is life-changing. Many parents found Young Vibes after exploring other options and becoming aware of their child’s needs and challenges. Parents often hear valuable insights and support through the program’s videos and resources, which help them better understand and engage with their children. Not only for the child but for the entire family.
Watch the overview below to understand how the Young Vibes recovery process works. Remember, exploring different approaches and being aware of the unique needs of your family can make a significant difference in your journey.
How Young Vibes Works For Parents
The first part of the Young Vibes program begins with parents, emphasizing the importance of starting with parental involvement as the foundation for the entire process.
This is not a traditional form of therapy, nor does it involve talking therapies like CBT.
Instead, the Young Vibes method focuses on supporting parents so they can influence meaningful change in their child’s behaviour and mindset. Our approach is not based on talk therapy, but rather on practical engagement and support.
Many families who first discover the program through Young Vibes reviews are surprised at how powerful this parent-first approach can be.
Stage 1 – Parents Only
The first stage of the Young Vibes process begins with parents.
This stage includes:
- Personal 1-to-1 meetings where appropriate
- Four tailored training videos per day
- Three live Zoom support sessions each weekday
Live Zoom sessions generally run Monday to Friday at:
- 10am
- 1pm
- 6pm
Parents watch the training videos in their own time and attend 2–3 live sessions per week for guidance and support.
During this phase:
- You do not discuss the programme with your child
- You begin making subtle shifts in your behaviour and perspective
- These changes begin influencing your child’s behaviour naturally
Many parents report seeing remarkable improvements within just a few weeks.
This stage typically lasts 2–4 weeks.
If needed, the Young Vibes team can contact your child’s school on your behalf. This reduces pressure on parents and creates a supportive buffer while you focus on the programme.
Special Session:
Dads Group – Thursdays at 6pm
Stage 2 – Parents & Child
In the second stage, parents continue their support while your child is gradually introduced into the Young Vibes process.
Parents still receive:
- Three live Zoom sessions daily
- A new set of four tailored videos per day
- Continued guidance from the Young Vibes team
The videos work alongside the live sessions and support your child’s recovery program.
A key feature of this stage is the Young Vibes Engagement Portal.
This gives parents a simple and effective system for involving their child without conflict, pressure, or drama.
For children who initially resist support, we also offer a special directive approach designed to encourage engagement and recovery.
Caterpillar – The Child’s First Stage
The child’s programme begins with Caterpillar, the first stage of their return to normal life.
Families often say in Young Vibes reviews that the impact during this stage is immediate and powerful.
Combined with the changes parents have already made in Stage 1, the results can be remarkable.
Dads Session:
Thursdays at 7pm with Sam
Stage 3 – Cocoon TransformationÂ
(Includes 1-to-1 Meetings)
Parents continue receiving:
- Daily live Zoom support sessions
- Four new video modules
- Personal guidance
Â
These resources work alongside your child’s Cocoon stage (Process 02).
This stage is often described by families in Young Vibes reviews as the most challenging — but also the most transformational.
The strategies used can feel counterintuitive at first, but as parents begin to see shifts in their child’s mood, confidence, and behaviour, the results become incredibly rewarding.
Cocoon – A Metamorphosis
Just like in nature, the Cocoon stage represents transformation.
Parents are guided closely throughout this stage so they can remain strong, confident, and supportive.
Dads Session:
Thursdays at 7pm with Sam
Stage 4 – Butterfly
Confidence & Growth
The final stage of the Young Vibes journey is called Butterfly (Process 03).
Parents continue to receive:
- Three daily Zoom support sessions
- Four additional training videos
- Direct guidance from the Young Vibes team
Â
This stage also includes the Return to School Bonus Program for children who have been struggling with school attendance.
During this phase:
- Hannah may host meetings with your child’s school
- Schools are given clear guidance on the Young Vibes protocol for supporting your child
- Parents learn strategies to help rebuild their child’s confidence and independence
Â
At this point, the programme shifts towards future-proofing your child’s emotional wellbeing.
The Young Vibes method works more like physiotherapy than psychotherapy by rebuilding emotional strength step by step.
Dads Session:
Thursdays at 7pm with Sam

Process 01
Caterpillar for Children
3 videos (3 times a week) + 121's.
Parents are given Dragonfly initially to map out the mechanics and structure, and how to enageg the child. Thereafter we give the child a sequence of discovery videos that all they need to do is watch and listen. A chosen parent provides the drink and snack and stays by the child’s side to watch throughout the process. If the child wants to join the Zooms at this stage they are given this option, most do join. The combination of your changes and what they hear from the videos make powerful changes that you would never have thought possible in the space of 3 – 4 weeks.
We ideally like the Dads to sit with the child to watch the videos to bring them into the process and this dovetails in with the Dad’s at 7pm on Thursday evening.
This part for the child is the ‘Honeymoon period’ the tough part comes next….
Process 02
Cocoon for Children
+ 2 Live Zooms a Day & The Bus Group.
We begin in Cocoon with the transformation and change. Aptly named Cocoon as it is a metamorphosis just like in nature !
It is a tough gig and the parent support and video information guides you and supports you through this section to keep parents strong and focused. It is what your child craves and the results are immediate.
Your child cannot unlearn what they have learnt and whilst it is tough to apply it is from the actions and the new behaviour that thye become empowered again and once they commit they feel capable and start to regain thier confidence.
The Zooms are great at this stage (not essential) but if required very influential and supportive.
In Cocoon we introduce the Bus Group an incredible and humbling tool that is manned 24/7 but ultimately a device where we and the children are able to offer real time support and advice – seeing it is believing it.
The children also have a chat function on their portal that they can reach out to book a 121 if they need additional help.
Â
Process 03
Butterfly for Children
+ Young Vibes School Meetings
This section includes (if your child had stopped going to school) the Return to School Program and any meetings, letters that are required to support your child’s return.
Butterfly is about future proofing your child to ensure they never worry, fear or dread anything or anybody again so much it gives them Anxiety. It is a very powerful part of the child’s journey and gives them a lifelong ability to use thier creativity as a blessing and no longer as thier curse.
Evergreen 🌲
Evergreen for Children
+ Keeping Everything !
The children keep everything and stay with us through all the ups and downs the next few years will inevitable bring.Â
Its a wonderful thing to have as they carry on thier lives, stronger and wiser but never having to say goodbye until they are ready.
Quote Nanny McFee
“ When you need me but don’t want me I must stay – When you want me but don’t need me one day I must go”
(Evergreen 🌲 takes children up to 22 years)
The Young Vibes Method
Unlike traditional therapy models, Young Vibes does not begin by analysing your child.
Instead, we begin by working with parents first.
This approach has helped hundreds of families transform difficult situations involving:
- Anxiety
- School avoidance
- OCD
- ADHD
- Agoraphobia
- Confidence issues
Many Young Vibes reviews highlight how quickly children begin to change once parents adopt the methods taught in the program.Â
Our process happens in four stages, each building on the previous step.
Why Families Choose Young Vibes

- School refusal
Parents often come to us after traditional approaches have failed.
